PENINSULA VALDES NORTH WITH SAN LORENZO FARMHOUSE

We begin the day by picking you up from your accommodations in Puerto Madryn, ready to enjoy an experience that combines unique landscapes, extraordinary wildlife, and Patagonian traditions in the incomparable Valdés Peninsula, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After an hour’s drive, we arrive at Puerto Pirámides, where we have the option to take part in the traditional boat-based whale watching (optional). Depending on the season, we marvel at the Southern Right Whale or at colonies of sea lions and cormorants, in a natural setting that never ceases to amaze.

We then continue to the traditional Estancia San Lorenzo, a typical Patagonian ranch that invites us to connect with the history and culture of the region. Here, we have time for lunch (optional), with the highlight being the classic Patagonian lamb roasted over an open fire, and the chance to visit one of the largest and most important Magellanic penguin colonies in the world.

In the afternoon, we head to Punta Norte, a privileged spot for observing marine wildlife. Depending on the season, we may see sea lions, elephant seals, and even orcas, showcasing some of the most fascinating behaviors in nature.

Before returning, we visit the Carlos Ameghino Interpretation Center, where we gain a deeper understanding of the richness of this ecosystem.

Throughout the day, terrestrial wildlife also accompanies us: guanacos, rheas, and foxes appear freely, adding unique moments to the experience.

We live a full, diverse, and authentic day, where Patagonia reveals itself in all its magnitude.
