PUERTO PIRAMIDES TOUR - WHALE WATCHING

We begin the day by picking you up from your accommodations in Puerto Madryn, for an experience designed to enjoy whale watching in a more relaxed way, avoiding the busiest hours in the Valdés Peninsula.

We head to Puerto Pirámides, a charming coastal village where we arrive around midday— an ideal time to embark with greater tranquility. Here, we have the option to take part in whale watching (optional), either in the traditional way or aboard the Yellow Submarine (a semi-submersible vessel), offering a different perspective and the chance to observe whales underwater.

The “Whale Experience” gives us unique moments: the closeness, the sounds, and the majesty of these giants of the sea create a deep connection with nature that is hard to forget.

After the navigation, we have free time for lunch (not included) and to enjoy the surroundings of Puerto Pirámides, with its restaurants and sea views.

Before returning, we visit the Carlos Ameghino Interpretation Center, where we gain a deeper understanding of the peninsula’s natural richness.

We return to Puerto Madryn with the feeling of having lived a different, calmer, and profoundly moving experience—ideal for those who wish to savor each moment at a slower pace.

1. The usual itinerary is Puerto Madryn, Puerto Pirámides, Istmo Carlos Ameghino, and return to Puerto Madryn.
2. The order may vary depending on weather conditions.
3. Departures are generally scheduled for 9:00 a.m., aiming to arrive in Puerto Pirámides later than most regular excursions that visit the entire peninsula.
4. Lunch will be in Puerto Pirámides at the passengers’ own expense, with a wide variety of options available.
5. The Yellow Submarine operates between the months of July and October.
