CHUBUT RIVER VALLEY

We begin the day by picking you up from your accommodations in Puerto Madryn, setting out on a journey to discover the history, culture, and landscapes of the lower Chubut River valley.

Our first stop is in the city of Trelew, where we have the option to visit the Egidio Feruglio Paleontological Museum (optional), one of the most important in Latin America. There, we immerse ourselves in a fascinating journey through time, exploring different geological eras and marveling at one of its great attractions: the impressive skeleton of the Patagotitan, the largest dinosaur ever recorded.

We then continue to Gaiman, a charming town that preserves intact the traces of Welsh colonization. Its traditional architecture, natural surroundings, and warm culture invite us to pause and enjoy. Here, we can experience Welsh tea (optional), a unique tradition that blends history and flavors in a welcoming atmosphere.

Along the way, we cross the valley’s farmland, where local production and agritourism are part of the landscape, offering an authentic glimpse into rural Patagonian life.

We return to Puerto Madryn in the afternoon with the feeling of having traveled not only through the territory but also through time, discovering a different and enriching facet of Patagonia.

Booking Conditions for the Chubut River Valley Tour

1. The usual itinerary is Puerto Madryn, Trelew, and Gaiman, also traveling along the internal roads of the productive farms. Return to Puerto Madryn in the afternoon.
2. The order may vary depending on weather conditions or at the guide’s discretion.
3. If part of the itinerary is canceled due to rain, no refund will apply.
4. This tour can be operated in the “Valley with IN” modality if passengers arrive on a flight before 9:00 a.m.
